Major Challenges: 

• Rodent infestation and sub floor rot
• Outdated interior furnishings and fixtures in disrepair.
• Poor layout with restroom at tail end of trailer and second sleeping space in the middle of the trailer
• No exterior shade nor energy efficient window coverings
• Major systems all destroyed: in need of new electrical, plumbing and propane systems
• Budget conscious

Resolutions:

• Achieved two bathroom fixtures in one by custom building a faucet and getting a three-way diverter to connect to the shower
• New custom interior furnishings and fixtures
• Layout with restroom in the  middle of the curbside of the trailer
• All new systems:  AC/DC electrical, plumbing and propane and solar power package
• All new subfloor, bamboo floating floor and rodent remediation
• Modern conveniences like AC, hot water on demand, storage options, USB outlets

Bathroom with new cabinets, countertop, hammered sink and custom soldered copper faucet with three way diverter. A custom made aerator brings the gpm from above 2gpm to 1.3gpm.

All custom vinyl cushions, drapes with solar fabric on one side and natural hemp on the inside. Solar window screens that block 90% of UV rays were also installed.

Updated kitchen. Custom cedar counter, Ikea sink, Pre wash spring pull down with one regular spout faucet for normal use. Suburban propane stove is great for cooking a meal or boiling water for tea. The hard ware is all original '65 that was cleaned and reused.

All custom reclaimed cedar butcher block counters. As said above, in order to back this trailer into the backyard we had to demo a carport. Good thing we reused everything except the tar roofing. One of the materials saved was (9) 2'x6'x9' that we milled down to make the counter tops.
